(New Windsor, NY) -- Cheap international flights are getting set for takeoff from Stewart Airport.
Norwegian Air says it'll launch new one-way service to Ireland out of Stewart Airport for as little as 69-dollars starting in June. Service will eventually expand to Scotland and England.
Critics say the airport is in the middle of nowhere, but proponents say rock-bottom air fares will put pressure on carriers that fly out of JFK, LaGuardia and Newark International Airports to lower overseas ticket prices.
