(Peekskill, NY) -- A hearing on the closure of the Indian Point nuclear power plant will be held next week.
State Senator Terrance Murphy is looking into the sudden decision to close the Indian Point Plant by 2021. He said this is an opportunity for the public to ask questions and have a voice in determining a future energy strategy.
The hearing is scheduled for March 2nd at the Peekskill Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 21 meeting hall.
