(Albany, NY) -- Buckle Up New York the Click it or Ticket campaign is underway.
Yesterday, state police began teaming up with local law enforcement to make sure drivers are wearing seat belts through June 4th. In addition, police will be setting up safety belt checkpoints along highways Memorial Day afternoon. During last year's campaign, more than 28-thousand adult and child safety restraining violations were issued.
