Yankee Fan Injured By 100MPH Foul Ball

(Bronx, NY) -- A New York Yankees fan is recovering after being struck in the head by a foul ball Tuesday night.

The ball was hit by Yankees slugger Aaron Judge into the seats near the first base dugout. It was travelling at a speed of over 100 miles an hour when it hit the fan, who hasn't been identified by authorities. The man had blood on his shirt and his head wrapped in a bandage as paramedics escorted him away from his seat.

A New York City lawmaker proposed a bill earlier this year that would've required the Yankees to extend protective netting down the first and third baselines.
