Gasoline Prices Jump

Gasoline prices have jumped 8 cents a gallon over the last three weeks.

The latest Lundberg survey puts the average nationwide price for a gallon of regular at $2.40.   Analyst Trilby Lundberg says she expects prices will remain stable over the next few weeks. Crude oil prices fell today as U.S. production increased helping add to an oversupply.

According to Gasbuddy prices at the pumps in the Poughkeepsie area range from $2.27 to $2.49 for a gallon of regular.
