'Alt Left Terrorist Threats' Halt Planned March on Google in Nine Cities

INJOA march over Google's firing of an employee who criticized the company's diversity policy has been called off due to what organizers say are “alt left terrorist threats.”

“Despite our clear and straightforward statements denouncing bigotry and hatred, CNN and other mainstream media made malicious and false statements that our peaceful march was being organized by Nazi sympathizer[s],” organizers for the March on Google said on their website Wednesday.

As a result, “credible threats from known Alt Left terrorist groups have been reported,” including someone who threatened to use an automobile to “drive into our peaceful march,” the group announced.

Last week, Google fired James Damore for writing a memo titled “Google's Ideological Echo Chamber,” in which he discussed the drawbacks of diversity as well as what he viewed as the company's bias against more conservative views.
