Ellenville Police are investigating the robbery of the Bank of America branch on Canal Street.
The robber walked into the bank yesterday afternoon, handed a teller a note demanding cash and then left with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported. The man was wearing a black-hooded Rawlings sweatshirt and a dark-colored baseball cap.
State Police and the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office are assisting with the investigation. Anyone with information that might be helpful is asked to call police at (845) 647-4422.
