The American Red Cross is holding a Boot Camp in Poughkeepsie for local residents who want to volunteer for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
The Boot Camp session will be held at the Marist College Student Center in the Cabaret Lounge from 9 to 6pm. The free training will provide volunteers orientation on how to assist in the relief operations.
The Eastern New York division of the Red Cross has already deployed 33 volunteers to support the relief efforts. Registration is available on line at: https://volunteerconnection.redcross.org/?nd=vms_public_form&form_id=2649.
