Public Hearing Tonight On Legoland Project

The Goshen Town Board is holding a public hearing this evening, after earlier this week accepting the findings of the Planning board on the Legoland Environmental Review.

A Legoland theme park is proposed for a large parcel of property in Goshen off of Route 17.  Developer Merlin Entertainments Inc. says the 800 million dollar project would create 1,500 jobs for the construction and operation of the world’s largest Legoland.

The Town Board is expected to make a decision tonight on whether the project can move forward.  The meeting is set to begin at 6:30pm at the C.J. Hooker Middle School in Goshen.
