(Newburgh, NY) -- The first medical marijuana dispensary in Orange County is now open for business.
Curaleaf began operating at a location in the Town of Newburgh yesterday. It will provide medication to some of the roughly 50-thousand-people who use cannabis for medication. New York State law doesn't allow the drug to be smoked, so Curaleaf offers pills and vapors.
The company has plans to open more locations in other parts of the state later this year.
