Tim Tebow Is Back In New York

Tim Tebow is back in New York and his stop in Double-A baseball is off to a good start.

The Heisman Trophy winner and former NY Jets quarterback homered on the first pitch he saw yesterday for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, the Mets' Double-A affiliate. The three-run shot put Binghamton up 5-0 in the first inning of an eventual 6-0 win.

Tebow didn’t have a good spring training experience with the Major League Mets in Florida; where he had very few hits and lots of strikeouts.  The stop in Double A might be just what he needs to fight his way to the big leagues.
