(Poughkeepsie, NY) -- The Dutchess County Health Department is offering free monthly Narcan training sessions. With the nationwide opioid crisis also affecting Dutchess County, health officials say the Narcan training sessions will explain what to do in the event of an overdose and how Narcan can reverse an overdose.
The next monthly training session will be held from 430 to 530pm on Wednesday January 23rd at the DBCH training Room located at 230 North Road in Poughkeepsie. No pre-registration is required, walk-ins are welcome. More information is available at (845) 486-2844.
