As Tropical Storm Isaias moves up the east coast, the Hudson Valley won't be immune to its effects. Meteorologists at the National Weather Service are encouraging residents to use caution as the storm could cause as much as 2-4 inches of rain in the area. Other areas could see a more concentrated rainfall of 4-6 inches. Areas along rivers creeks and streams are especially vulnerable to flooding. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect from 8am Tuesday to 8am Wednesday.

The WKIP First Warning Weather Team will continue to provide updates on-air and online with our partners at HudsonValleyWeather.com.
