I was sorry to see that former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin's lawsuit against the "New York Times" was dismissed. Palin accused the paper of defaming her in an editorial that linked her to a mass shooting in 2011.
A federal judge today said that although the editorial might have contained errors, the errors were not made with malicious intent. Palin sued the Times in June seeking 75-thousand dollars in damages.
We just have to somehow get the drive-by media to be held accountable for the sometimes fake news that they put out there. Fake news too often goes unchallenged.
