(Poughkeepsie, NY) -- Gasoline prices continue to rise around the country.
The nationwide average for a gallon of gas is three-dollars-and-one-cent. That is a hike of about two-cents over the past three weeks. According to Gasbuddy, prices at the pumps in Poughkeepsie range from $2.94 to $3.07 for a gallon of regular.
There could soon be a turn around in gas prices. Industry Analyst Trilby Lundberg says oil prices are decreasing and refiners will be passing down the savings to consumers.
