(Poughkeepsie, NY) -- When there was a report Saturday night of someone jumping off the Mid-Hudson Bridge, Poughkeepsie Police responded to the scene and Poughkeepsie Firefighters launched their rescue boat on the Hudson River.
Nearby boaters told the first responders that the jumper had a parachute on, and landed in Kaal Rock Park. The parachutist got in a white vehicle and drove away. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call City of Poughkeepsie Police at (845) 451-7577.
