(Stanford, NY) -- Police are investigating after a New York state trooper shot and killed a suspect in the town of Stanford in Dutchess County.
Police were called to 6063 Route 82 around 11:00 a.m. yesterday for a report of a person menacing. Cops say at one point, the trooper fired off his weapon, striking and killing the suspect. More details will be released at a news conference later today.
