(Albany, NY) -- Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend as time "falls back"and firefighters statewide are issuing a reminder.
They say while changing the clocks on Sunday it is a good time to also check the batteries in your smoke alarm to make sure they're working. One-hundred-seven people across New York have been killed in fires this year, second only to Texas. Experts say it's important to make sure you and your family members are safe before winter, since that's usually the worst time of the year for fires.
