(Binghamton, NY) -- A lawsuit filed by the National Rifle Association against Governor Cuomo and Department of Financial Services Superintendent Maria Vullo will move forward.
The New York Law Journal says a judge in the Northern District of New York ruled yesterday that claims Vullo and Cuomo violated the NRA's First Amendment rights can be heard at trial. The NRA filed the lawsuit earlier this year, saying Cuomo and Vullo tried to affect the group through official state actions.
