(Poughkeepsie, NY) -- The Hudson Valley is bracing for its first blast of snowy weather this season. A wintry mix is predicted to hit the area Thursday afternoon into Friday.
Meantime, a blast of cold air is sliding in from the west, with temperatures expected to only reach 37-degrees on Wednesday. The cold continues Thursday with some snow and sleet with a high of only thirty-eight degrees.
Hudsonvalleyweather.com’s forecast for Thursday night reads, “Cloudy with snow... possibly mixing with sleet and rain, especially from I-84 on south. Low in the upper 20s. ENE wind 5 to 10mph. Chance of precipitation 80%. Moderate snow and sleet accumulation possible.”
