Police in Rochester, NY are cancelling an AMBER ALERT after they say Joanna Coates and her alleged abductor have been located and she is safe.
ORIGINAL STORY:
(New York, NY) -- Police issued an AMBER Alert for a 14-year-old girl from Rochester who may be travelling through the Hudson Valley headed to the New York City area.
Authorities say the teen, Joanna Coates, is in imminent danger of serious harm after allegedly being abducted by 41-year-old Robert Gonzalez in Rochester Saturday night. Coates is described as five-feet-four-inches tall, about 100 pounds. She was last seen wearing a blue Nike shirt and black leggings with Timberland boots. Anyone who spots her is urged to call 911.
