Police in Kingston are trying to find out why a 73 year old man was stabbed on Sunday morning, acccording to MidHudson News. The incident happened near the Speedway at 307 Broadway, where they found the elderly man bleeding from a stab wound to the neck just before 12pm.
Officers arrested 41 year old Reginald Deas of Kingston after witnesses at the scene pointed him out. The victim was taken to Health Alliance Broadway and treated for his wounds, he is listed in stable but serious condition.
Deas was charged with armed assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
