Many IBM Workers Want CEO Ginni Rometty To Leave President Trump's Council

(New York, NY) -- A growing number of IBM workers want CEO Ginni Rometty to leave President Trump's business advisory council.

More than 16-hundred current and former workers have signed an online petition asking Rometty to "reaffirm" IBM's core values by distancing herself from the President. One of the petition organizers is angry that IBM did not join in filing a legal brief opposing Trump's temporary ban on travel and immigration by people from seven Muslim-majority countries.

More than 120 tech firms, including heavyweights Apple, Facebook, Google, and Microsoft signed onto the brief. IBM and Oracle did not.
