(White Plains, NY) -- Governor Andrew Cuomo is urging state residents to stay off the roads due to slick conditions and poor visibility. Earlier today, Governor Cuomo said crews were successfully cleaning the main roads. He says the state has 4,000 plow drivers and heavy equipment operators helping with the cleanup effort.
The Governor says that cars have been getting stuck on various on and off-ramps due to inclines, causing traffic backups. He says that utility crews are dealing with some power outages in the Hudson Valley.
