A snow emergency has been declared in the City of Poughkeepsie .
Mayor Rob Rolison says sanitation garbage pickup has been suspended and the City bus service is cancelled for today. During a “Snow Emergency,” vehicles are required to be removed from streets that are designated as a snow emergency route.
Mayor Rolison is urging other drivers to also move their vehicles to municipal lots.
