Central Hudson officials say that they are making good progress in restoring electricity to all their customers in Dutchess and Ulster counties.
High winds yesterday knocked down trees and power lines with nearly 23,000 customers losing power. Utility crews repaired damage at more than 200 locations on Monday. Central Hudson says full restoration is expected by 10 tonight.
