Fishkill photographer Ted Spiegel is well known for his many beautiful photographs of the Hudson Valley, but it is a photograph that he took 57 years ago that is gaining nationwide attention.
His photograph of John F Kennedy campaigning for President has been turned into a U.S Postage stamp that was just issued on President’s Day. Spiegel took the photograph of JFK for National Geographic in Seattle, Washington on September 6, 1960.
The John F. Kennedy Forever Stamp commemorates the centennial of JFK’s birth.
