B & B Owners In Orange County Charged With Abusing Farm Hand

(Goshen, NY) -- A pair of Orange County bed and breakfast owners is accused of abusing and stealing from a mentally disabled farm hand.

State Police investigators believe the man lived in a barn apartment at John and Mary Quick's Silent Farms Bed and Breakfast in Goshen for more than a decade. He took care of the land and the animals. A police investigation got underway after a neighbor found he didn't have heat or hot water.

It was discovered the Quick's were allegedly accessing the man's bank account and stealing his Social Security benefits.
