Central Hudson is working toward full restoration of power by sometime tonight.
Only a few damage locations remain from Saturday night’s violent thunderstorm. Utility crews have had to clear roads, repair power lines and replace broken poles. At one point on Saturday, more than 32,000 Central Hudson customers were without power.
Meanwhile, road crews were kept busy over the weekend after the Thunderstorm Saturday night knocked down trees and power lines. Main Street in Rosendale was shut down for most of the day yesterday due to storm damage. Part of Route 32 in Rosendale, Jenkinstown Road in Gardiner and Leggett Road in Marbletown were blocked by fallen trees or power lines.
