(Orange Co., NY) -- A man is admitting to his role in the 2016 killing of an Orange County firefighter.
Jauntae Brown pleaded guilty yesterday to manslaughter for the stabbing death of volunteer firefighter Justin Speights at a New Years house party. DA David Hoovler says Speights was stabbed twice while trying to break up a fight at the house party in Crawford.
Brown faces up to 15 years in prison at his May sentencing.
