(Poughkeepsie, NY) -- A winter storm warning is in effect for Dutchess and Ulster counties beginning at midnight.
www.Hudsonvalleyweather.com says the storm will dump 16 to 24 inches of snow on the Mid-Hudson through Wednesday. Residents are warned that heavy snow and high winds could make for dangerous driving conditions and could cause power outages.
Governor Andrew Cuomo is mobilizing state snow clearing equipment to respond to harsh conditions.
