(Albany, NY) -- This week's snow storm is now officially a disaster.
Yesterday, Governor Andrew Cuomo signed an executive order declaring a disaster in the state of New York from Tuesday until tomorrow. Cuomo says the storm cause widespread power outages, moderate to severe coastal erosion and flooding, damage to homes, apartments, businesses, and public and private property.
The governor asked state agencies and public departments to respond accordingly to protect public health and safety.
