(Poughkeepsie, NY) -- A booze ban is in effect for Metro North trains. Metro North riders are not allowed to have alcohol on the train for Saint Patrick's Day.
The railroad reminds passengers that their annual alcohol ban is in place from today until five o'clock tomorrow morning including on platforms and in the train stations. Any alcohol found will be confiscated.
