Snow Emergency Expanded In Poughkeepsie

Poughkeepsie Mayor Rob Rolison has expanded the Snow Emergency to include every street in the city.

Vehicles parked on city streets are subject to towing to make way for snow removal efforts.  Poughkeepsie officials say they will notify residents in advance about which streets are next.

Meanwhile, State Department of Transportation crews and the New York National Guard are helping local DPW workers in removing tons of snow.  In Poughkeepsie overnight work was going on on Market Street and the eastbound and westbound arterial.
