(New York, NY) -- Security is being increased at British sites in New York City after today's attack in London.
NYPD Counterterrorism officers are now stationed outside the British Consulate in Manhattan, with long guns and K-9s. Extra police are also keeping an eye on the United Nations, though there is no known threat to the U-N or New York City.
A representative from the Consulate declined to comment on today's attack or heightened security.
