(Hamden, CT) -- New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is getting an approval bounce in the new Quinnipiac University poll.
New York State voters approve 52-to-31 percent of the job Cuomo's doing, up slightly from a 49-to-34 percent approval rating last December. But the same 52 percent of voters who approve of Cuomo don't want him to run for President, saying he wouldn't make a good one.
Pollster Maurice Carroll says they'd rather he battle President Trump from Albany, with 57 percent of New Yorkers surveyed saying it would be good for the state if Cuomo challenges Trump's policies.
