Hudson Valley Honor Flight organizers are preparing for Mission 15 on Saturday.
Dozens of World War Two and Korean War vets will depart Stewart Airport near Newburgh Saturday for a day-long visit to Our Nation’s Capital. The Veterans and Honor Flight volunteers will travel to Washington, DC and spend time at the war memorials, Arlington National Cemetery and other locations.
Lots of local residents plan to be at Stewart Airport for the Pre-Flight Send-Off at 7am and the Welcome Home Rally at 8:30pm.
