(New York, NY) The hotel chain that owns Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza says malware stole customers' credit and debit card information at more than a thousand hotels.
InterContinental Hotels Group said yesterday the malware infected front desk cash registers at more than 12-hundred hotels between September 29th and December 29th last year. The chain says thieves stole data from people who stayed at Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Candlewood Suites, and Staybridge Suites hotels.
