Major Frozen Dinner Recall

(Washington, DC) -- Almost 111-thousand pounds of frozen Banquet chicken nugget dinners are being recalled because the brownie included as a dessert may be contaminated with Salmonella.

The seven-point-four ounce meals, which also include a macaroni and cheese side, have a "best if used by" date of July 20, 2018. They were distributed to stores across the country. Conagra Brands, which produces the dinners, says it learned from a supplier that an ingredient in the brownie mix used may be tainted with Salmonella but there are so far no reports of illness associated with it.
