At the Dutchess County Courthouse in Poughkeepsie yesterday Kathy Grosz-Zaltas shared her very personal story of how her parents survived the Nazi Concentration camps during World War Two.
She told of their story growing up in Czechoslovakia and then being sent to camps after the Nazis invaded Eastern Europe. She brought photos and official papers to show to those who turned out. Her talk was part of the Holocaust Remembrance Day Observance hosted by Attorney Marty Rutberg. Rutberg said with all the hotspots around the world today it is especially important to remind everybody of the atrocities perpetrated by the Nazis.
The program was sponsored by the Justice Brandeis Law Society Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center.
