(Albany, NY) -- Through Friday New York State is actively working to educate the public about the move over law.
The campaign kicked off yesterday to raise awareness for the law requiring drivers to slow down and move over for law enforcement vehicles, fire trucks, ambulances stopped along the roadway. The law was recently expanded to include other hazard and emergency vehicles like tow trucks, construction and maintenance vehicles.
