A 30 year old Poughkeepsie man was shot and wounded in Downtown Poughkeepsie.
Saturday afternoon responding officers found him in the 200 block of Church Street with wounds to both of his legs from a single gunshot. The victim had been confronted by at least two people, and was shot during a struggle over a handgun. The man is recovering in a local hospital.
