(Albany, NY) -- State energy officials are defending their decision to save nuclear plants Upstate, but not Indian Point.
Yesterday in Albany state officials said they would be investing billions of dollars into three upstate nuclear plants. They say that nuclear energy is cleaner and better for the environment. Governor Cuomo says they are closing the Indian Point plant for the safety of New York City residents.
