Governors Demand Penn Station Changes

(Albany, NY) -- Governor Andrew Cuomo is calling for major changes in the way Penn Station is run.

Yesterday Cuomo and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie sent a joint letter to the CEO of Amtrak asking that a private operator take over the rail station. The governors said that their states pay 150-million-dollars a year to use the station and decades of underinvestment is consistently affecting their commuters.

They said this situation isn't acceptable and a change must be made very soon.
