Lyft Ridesharing Looks To Expand To Ulster County

Officials with the ridesharing company Lyft were in Ulster County today scouting out possible expansion across the county.  Recent state legislation allows Lyft, Uber and other ridesharing companies to set up operations in upstate New York.

Ulster County Executive Michael Hein says he welcomes talks to find ways to expand safe, reliable transportation across the county.  Hein says such services could help grow the tourism trade which is such a large part of Ulster’s economy.
