The word that a special counsel is taking over the Russia investigation is bad news.
Former FBI Director Robert Mueller was appointed to the position yesterday by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. The bad news is that this is going to slow down the Trump agenda of healthcare reform, resetting the tax code and building the border wall.
The Special Counsel is going take months or maybe years to investigate this and in the end I predict there won’t be any more substance than what we already know. Most of it will be just noise.
Trump needs to double down on his agenda and push all the harder to make things happen. He should cooperate with the investigation but pretty much ignore it. When asked he should say, “ I am not commenting on that while the investigation continues. Once they reach their conclusions I will be more than happy to answer your questions.”
