(New York, NY) -- New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is trying to make travel a bit easier for folks hitting the roads for Memorial Day weekend.
He's suspending road and bridge construction projects on highways statewide tomorrow morning through Tuesday morning. Triple-A predicts the holiday weekend is going to be the most in travel since 2005, thanks to economic growth leading to more consumer spending. The auto club estimates more than 39-million people will travel more than 50 miles from home this weekend, with the bulk getting around by car.
