All the streets in Saugerties have reopened. Police are expected to release more details about the incident later this morning.

A heavy police response in Saugerties this morning has shut down several streets.
One witness says it appears that someone is barricaded in a home but police are not confirming that. Saugerties Police say Elizabeth Street, Cross Street, Livingston Street, First Street, and Second Street in Saugerties are closed until further notice. The incident began around 6:30 this morning, with a SWAT Team on the scene.
