(Rhinebeck, NY) -- A Kingston woman is dead after a car crash in Rhinebeck.
According to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s office 65 year old Kathi Norklun crossed into oncoming traffic on State Quarry Road Saturday and crashed head on into another car. Norklun was the only one in her car and she was pronounced dead at Northern Dutchess Hospital..
The three occupants of the other car were taken to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
"The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by members of the Rhinebeck Fire Department, the Rhinecliff Fire Department, and Northern Dutchess Paramedics. The investigation into the crash is continuing by members of the Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Unit."
