I am not on the list. Once again I am disappointed.
NASA has announced its 2017 astronaut candidates and my name is not on the list. 24/7 News reports the space agency says it received a record-breaking number of applications to join up for future space explorations. The newest astronaut class is the largest since 2000. Seven men and five women make up the new class.
Each candidate has various specialties ranging from medicine to aerospace engineering. The announcement of the new class came today at the Johnson Space Center in Houston.
There are a lot of people who would like to see me shot off into space, but I guess we will all have to wait. Maybe next year.
